About Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont

"In 2013, two of the leading and longest established gastroenterology practices in the Piedmont Triad (Piedmont Gastroenterology Specialists - since 1957 & Salem Gastroenterology Associates - since 1979) merged to form what is now known as "GAP." We currently have locations in Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and Clemmons. GAP offers open-access colorectal cancer screenings to qualified patients. In addition, our providers are board-certified to evaluate, diagnose and and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions. We perform most screening and diagnostic procedures at our outpatient surgical centers, where we strive to provide a more personal, convenient, comfortable and affordable alternative to the typical hospital setting."
